Christmas holiday period ❤️

This blog post is going to be me sharing with you what I got up to during the christmas holiday period. I had such a chilled few days that I just didn't want to wear normal clothes, I love wearing Pyjamas way to much, I think its actually becoming an addiction.

To start off the christmas holiday period i finished work for the year, and went out with the staff to mu mu's to celebrate. It was such a laugh, and the food was really good.

It was then time to pack my stuff ready for our christmas family get away. We go to my dads sisters house in newark for Christmas, she lives in the countryside and has quite a big house. My auntie goes to her mums (my grandma) for Christmas, so it means we have the house all to our selves which is nice. We just chilled watched movies, eat loads, etc. I actually didn't really get out of my pyjamas while we was there, as I didn't need to wear normal clothes as I didn't go out much.

Thats it, that is all what I got up to during my Christmas holiday period. Overall it was a really nice to do nothing, not have to worry about stuff, and just chill which i loved the most.

Strictly Come Dancing Week 6

The competition is getting though!

Week 6 is Halloween themed. So shall we see how everyone got on.

1st couple to perform was Katie and Anton, dancing to the paso doble.
It wasn't her best performance but it was still good. Len said that this dance doesn't suit her personality. Craig thought it was stiff and wasn't great, and Darcy said that she needs to practice her spotting and focus. Craig scored them a 4, Darcy scored them a 6, Len scored them a 6, and Bruno scored them a 5 . The total score was 21.

The 2nd couple to perform was Kirsty and Brendon, dancing to the Charlston.

Strictly Come dancing week 5

I didn't know what to title this blog post so I just titled it as strictly come dancing week 5. I have been wanting to do this series since strictly was back on TV, now I'm finally getting round to doing it at week 5. These strictly blog post will be me giving you my feedback of each couples performance, practically being another judge. This is just a bit of fun as I love strictly, and I'm a huge fan of the show. I will now begin giving my feedback of the performances of week 5.

1. Georgia and Giovanni

I'm a huge fan of team Gigi. I feel like they are great pair. Georgia and Giovanni was dancing to the salsa, last week they scored 31 and this week was the same score. I thought there salsa had so much sass, Georgia came out and defiantly gave it her all. But that dirty dancing lift, wow!.

2. Carol and Pasha

I thought carol and pasha's Viennese waltz was good. She looked quite nervous throughout the performance. It did look a messy feet wise, but i feel like she has got potential to go quite far.

3. Anita and Gleb

Anita is a really good dancer, and has potential to go far throughout this series. Anita and Gleb danced the tango, and was a very strong performance. Great choreography, and I agreed with all judges comments.

4. Peter and Jeannette

Peter and Jeanette danced to the rumba this week, it was very sexy but I felt like there wasn't much dancing, I wanted to see more. I agreed with judges comments and they scored 29.

5. Kirsty and Brendon

Kirsty and Brendon danced to the Viennese waltz, It was really beautiful to watch but I felt like she could of relaxed a bit more. I agreed with the the judges comments and they scored 29.

6. Ainsley and Natalie

They danced to the jive, his legs looked like jelly. It was ok, but definitely not his best performance. The judges gave out some good constructive criticism.

7. Jamelia and Tristan

Jamelia and Tristan danced the foxtrot. I thought the dance and the song fitted perfect, there were a few glitz but was very good. she needs to stop beating herself up when she goes wrong, and believing herself more as she is a great dancer.

8. Katie and Anton

Katie and Anton danced the salsa and it was good. I have to agree with Len on the slow start, I also agree with Bruno's and Darcy's comments aswell. They scored 21.

9. Jeremy and Karen

Jeremy may not be the best dancer but he does have a lot of entertainment in him. He's so entertaining to watch and that's what i like about him. Jeremy and Karen danced the waltz, he looked a bit stiff when dancing, and feel he needs to relax his face more as his smile through the dance was quite stiff looking. They scored 18 but great to watch.

10. Helen and Aljaz

I honestly there performance, Helen and aljaz danced the quick step. I agreed with all judges comments and they scored 35. well deserved i think.

11. jay and Aliona

Jay and aliona danced the paso doble which was really good, I thought it was one of his best dances. It was a very strong performance. I agreed with Craig and Darcy's comment, Bruno's was a little bit too raunchy. They scored 33

12. Kellie and Kevin

Kellie and Kevin danced the jive, it was very quick but I loved it. I thought it was a really good performance but i saw she was getting a bit tired towards the end. They scored 35.

Here is the leader board for week 5.

I do not own the photos to the leader board and no copyright intended. I'm not a professional and this was just a bit of fun. My most popular video on YouTube is strictly Vlog, so it would be nice to share with my viewers what I thought of the strictly performances. I know Gabriella does it on twitter but I thought I would do it on blog.

I will update This blog post when the vote off happens. I honestly don't know who will go this week, its going to be a tough one.

How to make your pets feel safe through bonfire & fireworks nights

I have a cat called Pepsi if you didn't already know, and he can get really spooked at times which is normal, so I've done a lot of research and I thought I'd share with you some tips, and useful information so you don't feel useless when your pet(s) are feeling scared.

I always make sure my cat is in on those nights, but I'm really protective so I like to make sure he's safe. Pets can runaway if they are spooked so it is vital that your pets are made to feel safe.

I found some music on youtube which is free there's loads I'll link a few below for you, there relaxation music for pets, I love it and found it really helps my cat to relax.

Making sure your pet has a place to hide if it wishes to, like my cat likes to hide in the shelves which are under the stairs cupboard. I always make sure that my pet can rome around the house if it wishes to I make sure all the doors are open (out part the front and back of the house also the airing cupboard.

Sometimes pets like reassuring but at times they like to be left alone. I do a bit of both at first I'm constantly reassuring Pepsi that its ok when theres really loud noises around but then i leave him alone aswell.

Your local vets may be able to give you some more advice some do packages for your pets, so its always worth giving them a ring.

These are my few tips which i found out by researching whats best for my cat. I hope you found these useful some pet owners don't bother putting in the time to make there pets feel safe. I will link some useful websites for you if you would like to know more.

VetsNow - This website has info on rabbit care aswell.
Blue Cross - This has info on horses and ponies care also.

Disclaimer - I'm not a specialist or a vet, But I am a pet lover.

Living with Anxiety, my story & awarenes

This is a subject I've been wanting to talk to you about for a long while, and that's mental health. I've never really been able to explain properly what it's like for me, and maybe for others who are living with any type of mental health illness(es). Mental health runs in my family and it's something I have to deal with on a daily basis. Its become a huge part of my life especially In my teen years.  I've never really opened up about it but today I am.

I suffer from anxiety and depression, but I have to say even Though I can manage my mental health, I still have both positive and negative days like with anyone else who suffers.

My anxiety and depression started when I was about 15, I can't remember exactly but I know it was when I was In my final years of school. Something happened In my life around that time which completely left me in shock, I didn't know who I could talk to about it and so I bottled most of my feelings up as I do ( I know it's bad ), but I didn't really have any friends to talk to about it. The advice people tried to give me wasn't really helpful/working either, If I think about it to much I will cry. On top of everything going on in my life I had school to deal with, I hated school and on top of that GCSE'S was even worse for me. That's when my panic attacks started to happen, at first I didn't really know what was happening to me It all felt strange and it would get me down all the time. Once I left school I honestly thought freedom, and life Would get a lot easier. It actually got alot harder instead. I went to study at college, turned out there was a lot of favouritism going on and I was one of them, I wasn't enjoying it even though I had made new friends. Towards the end of my first year at college I started going in less and less, I lied about a lot of things especially when it came to why I was at home and not in class. When it was time to go back for my 2nd year at college I found out that the friends I made the previous year wasn't joining on in the course I was doing. My heart sank, I was so scared at the fact I didn't know anyone, and I had to go through the whole making friends again,  so I walked out of class and went home. (you probably wouldn't know but i have a hard time making new friends, I always feel like I'm constantly being judged for the way i am, I know that's not true but for a long time that's what i thought. I cant physically go up to someone and start talking even with the friends i had already made.) My parents were on holiday at the time and I couldn't get hold of anyone to talk to or know anyone I could go to to try and calm down it was horrible. I got into a fight with my grandparents a couple of days before which by this time sent my anxiety through the roof!. I was so upset I couldn't even face the fact of going back, I did but it wasn't for long till I got my dream job and I left college for good.

Life didn't get any better since starting my job, I only work 6 hours max a week which sucks but I do love my job and I wouldn't quit it not even for a better job or even if I won a million pounds. My family kept putting constant pressure on me, it actually started making me really unhappy. This went on for quite some time when it all got way out of had and I finally took action and done what was best for me. Since going through all this drama I feel like I'm finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel, I still put constant pressure on myself but there has to be one thing I have learnt the most from all This (and i still am learning!)  its that I'm only human. That's practically my story on how my anxiety and depression started, as i say most days I'm fine and I can tell myself that I'm only human and i can only do so much but those bad days comes a challenge.

I've talked about how it all started and how I deal with mental health, but there is one last thing I want to talk about and that's how others see/view mental health especially anxiety. This is something what really gets to me also at times and I shouldn't let it but it's so hard not to. it's when people tell you that your faking it and your doing it for attention, It drives me crazy!. can I just say that I hate attention I don't like being fussed over or nothing like that I want to be treated like any other human being does/should and that's with respect. Some people talk down to you and that's another thing what happens to me ever so often. What I'm trying to get at is no matter what type of mental health illness(s) your family, friend, anyone for that matter has we us sufferers cant help we are different but we shouldn't be treated any differently. To those of you reading this and are a bit unsure on what your friend, work college, family member etc  health illnesse(s) is about, than i will leave some links to some useful sites which may help build your understanding on the whole thing. Basic knowledge and understanding could really help/come in handy one day you never know.

It feels so good getting that off my chest, i will probably not mention this topic again unless you want me to. But i always feel a bit weary about sharing you some very personal stuff I've been dealing with for a long time. I really hope this blog post made some sort of sense to you, if your a mental health sufferer than please feel free to leave your opinion in the comments, and if your not let me know your opinion on this post. Please also be aware that this is just my opinion, people will always have there different view and opinion on this topic. I'm not doing this for attention or nothing like that, I just wanted to express my thoughts and feelings on this subject and open up to you about my struggles. The aim of this post wasn't for me to give you advice on those who suffer or know someone who isn't coping, i will link some useful links which may help those who want to get in touch with someone who can help you more than i can ever do. I want to make people more aware of all the different types of mental health illnesses there are, I really hope this blog post actually made sense as no one has checked it to make sure it has made sense, also I'm sorry for my bad English too hopefully you didn't notice to much.

thank you so much for reading
lots of love

Ted 2 Movie Review

If taking blog pictures wasn't so much effort, then I would of had loads of blog posts published ready for you to read. but in this blog post I'm going to be telling you what i think of the Ted 2 movie, I went to watch it with my dad the other day and I found it hilarious.

MOVIE PLOT

I'm the type of person that laughs at most things funny, even when there not that funny to other people. I don't want to give to much away as it will spoil the film, but if you like spoilers then I'm sure you can find more about the movie on google.

The movie starts off with Ted getting married to the love of his life Tami Lynn, a few years later they seemed to be drifting apart, Ted mentions this to one of his work colleges and she tells him that having a baby will keep there marriage stay together, Tami Lynn was very happy when Ted told her he wanted a baby with her. The Problems arise when the couple decide to adopt a child, but the law declares Ted to be a property and not a person. Angry and dejected, Ted must now seek legal help from a young lawyer and a legendary, civil-rights attorney to get the justice he deserves.

MOVIE REVIEW

I really liked Ted 2, in parts of the film i thought it was dragging slightly, but it has some hilarious scenes throughout the film. The film itself wasn't to long, and wasn't to many new characters as most of the cast were to reprise their role. Out of 5 stars i would rate it 4 star, i wouldn't go and see it again in the cinemas but i will be buying the DVD when it comes out. I think its a personal preference really, if you find most things funny and have more of a dirty mouth, then your more likely to enjoy it.

Please note that this blog post post is giving you my 100% honest opinion. I hope this gave you an idea of some sort whether or not to go and watch the movie.

Thanks so much for reading

Nearly Show Time | Dance Diaries

Hi lovelies, I have decided to move my dance diaries to blog form. To those who dont know what dance diaries are, its where I tell you everything dance wise whats happened/happening in the month. I decided to move my dance diaries to blog form because I wasn't enjoying filming and editing them, I was actually finding it quite boring, so I thought I would give dance diaries a try on blog form and see how i get on.

To those who don't know my dance history, I've practically been dancing for 10 years. I'm not a professional or anything, i'm just a normal person who is really passionate about dance. Its become a huge part of my life, especially because I've been going to the same dance school since I first started.

I'm super happy and excited while typing this dance diary for you to read, because I can say what I want to say without having to worry about the time situation. I felt like I couldn't go into detail when talking via camera, so it feels like such a relief to be able to do theses dance diaries on this platform.

Looking back on the last dance diary video I made one of the main things I said was Disney. I'm performing at Disney land Paris in august, its all paid for now and I'm super excited. I'm also really nervous because one of the routines I am performing in with my dance group is really energetic and requires a lot of stamina which I don't have. Also flexibility this time last year my flexibility was really good but this year its gone downhill so much. I really need to set myself achievable goals before I go to Disney because performing at Disney is a big thing, and I don't want to let my group down or myself down, as I know that's how I feel if I don't make an improvement in my techniques.

We ( the dance school I go to ) are rehearsing for 2 big shows, 1 is the main show every pupil performs at and the 2nd one is the grand pix which ill go into detail in a bit. I'm really excited to get my costumes as they are all very beautiful. Before the big show I got asked by my dance teacher to perform at the grand prix, I was really unsure and not bothered at first but I thought why not. If your wondering how i get these amazing opportunities, my dance teacher gets asked then she picks/we get to choose if we want to do the project or not.

The private lessons have stopped and I've stopped going to tap classes as I don't want to do tap in the show, as I don't feel confident doing it. I'm actually really bad at tap.

Think that's all I want to get off my chest, if I've missed anything out then I can easily update this post. we've just been rehearsing a lot for different shows coming up.

UPDATE: I'm now doing tap in the show. I'm still so scared I'm going to be rubbish, but I will get to practice on the stage with my tap shoes so hopefully I'll be alright.

Thank you for reading
I love ya all Claire xoxo

Tunisia 2015 holiday overview, pics, reviews + more!

Hi everyone sorry I haven't posted in a while but I have a blog post for you to read now. As you can probably guess by the title theres a lot to talk about. I've recently been on holiday to Tunisia, and thought I would talk about what I got up to, and go into detail about my review of the holiday.

I went on holiday with my parents and sister so there was four of us travelling to Tunisia. We stayed at the Movie Gate Miramar Hotel in Hammamet. From the outside it looks really old and tatty, but from the inside it was actually spacious clean and modern, I was amazed of how much this hotel has.

Here is a list of things which amazed me in this hotel. these are also listed on the hotels website.

3 swimming pools (this includes 1 children's pool)
 24 hour reception
waterpark
tennis courts
 pool bar
 spa
 snack bar/cafe

I would say 90% of the staff, were really kind and laid back. The other 10% of the staff looked stressed, grumpy and overall not very caring of there customers. But 10% isn't a lot and we had no trouble at all with the staff, one of the receptionist in particular was really helpful, and really kind.

Overview of the holiday

Overall it was a lovely relaxing holiday, the hotel was not overcrowded there was plenty of sunbeds by the pool and the hotel is right on the beach. Food and drinks in plenty of supply. Lovely weather when we went at the end of May.  The beach was clean and tidy, also beach towels were supplied by the hotel on request which was good. We had daily chamber maid clean the room, there was a fridge in hotel room the only downsides of the holiday was pillows were rock hard and had to go to local town to get money out of cash machine. Some of the shops/resturants were not always open when they said they would be near by the hotel. The first two days of the holiday the hotel representasive were a bit pushy in selling holiday trips but backed off after that. The shops outside the hotel, trying to coach you in all the time but as soon as you said a firm no they left you alone. Do not make the mistake of saying we will be back later or saying you dont have any money as they will say you can come back and pay later. As they will remember you. This was a good family holiday, but its not a holiday area for those who want to go clubbing. Entertainment on everyday which was the same every day and night.

quad biking, pirate boat, paragliding, camel/horse ride, massage.

Holiday pics

we  didnt take that many pictures while we were on holiday but here is a few.
sorry that some of the pics are not straight on I had a a lot of trouble uploading pics.

the lovely and warm indoor swimming pool

look how pretty these fruit designs are!

mum dad and sarah posing for the camera

The trips

The trips we went on was quad biking, pirate boat, paragliding, camel/horse ride. We also booked a lovely massage treatment aswell. I really liked all the different trips we went on. The only one I didn't like much was the pirate ship boat trip. I actually found that trip quite boring and not very entertaining. I absolutely loved quad biking even though mum nearly crashed into the wall with me on the back of the quad bike. Dad and I was the only ones to go paragliding sarah and mum didn't want to go. If you ever get the chance to go paragliding go and do it! Honestly you see some amazing views (well dad and I did anyway). Camel riding was okay it was a lovely day the day we went on the camel ride. It was like going for a long walk but sitting on a camel. I went on the horse on the way back as I actually had enough of sitting on the uncomfortable camel even though it wasn't much difference riding on the horse on the way back.

More info

If you want to see more of what I got up to on my holiday you can check out my 2nd channel on youtube which is more ukmisstinkerbell, where I be uploading 6 vlogs where I vlogged 6 days of my holiday. This is optional please dont feel like I'm pushing you into watching them.

Thank you so much for reading this blog post, you have finally got to the end. If you liked this blog post please give it a like so I know that you have enjoyed reading this. Please comment where you've been on holiday. We are planning on going to Sri Lanka next year, but let me know if you have any holiday destinations I think I should check out/look into.

What I Did This Weekend

I had a good weekend, out part I was poorly Sunday morning. I usually don't get up to much on weekends, there usually my chilax days after 4 - 5 days of dance. On Saturday I got up at about 9am, I got up and done my usual thing of getting my laptop, and sitting on the sofa. I eventually got dressed and went to visit my great uncle in hospital, and picked my mum up from work (she works at the hospital). After that we went to pick my sister up from dance and i think we just chilled for the rest of the day. Dad has been building a wardrobe for me in my room so I actually have somewhere to put my clothes aswell this weekend.

On Sunday i woke up in a lot of pain, I thought having a shower would help but it didn't, I actually haven't had a period so bad as this. I ended up being sick from the pain as it was to much. I made it down the stairs and hugged a hot water bottle, also watched a bit of tv. Later on it was my best friends sons first birthday party, so I forced myself to get dressed and go.

Bailey playing with the lego I got him for his birthday. :)

Bailey opening presents with his sister. :)

Later on my dad made me go out to dinner with him and the rest of the family, As it's his birthday coming up. I was still feeling fragile so i didn't eat a lot, but I went for my dad.

Thats all what I got up to this weekend, I hope you like these type of blog posts as much as I do its something different I guess that not many bloggers do. :)

Starting Fresh Again.

If you've been following me on social media lately, you might of heard that I've been wanting to change my blog layout for a long time it feels like. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a new blog design, the maximum I wanted to spend was probably £40 on one. I then came across pipdig, who have been super helpful and have some amazing designs, and I can't wait to get blogging again. I decided that I wanted my blog to be about beauty, fashion and lifestyle, as these are the things I'm really into at the moment. I really hope you love the new blog design as much as I do, if you have any suggestions on future blog posts, please do let me know.
